This new 4th-6th school helped alleviate overcrowding that occurred due to the increase in district enrollment of approximately 250 students per year. Seven hundred and fifty students were housed in thirty modular classrooms prior to the opening of this school.

The new school has three distinct two story “houses” that each contain one grade level. The students move from the house to support services such as the gym, library and cafeteria. The site contains soccer fields and softball fields that are used by the students during the day and the general public after school hours.
