The Joycat events team wanted to bring a unique concept to Lancaster city and they trusted Sims Architects with the architecture and interior design process. We created a boutique bowling alley, arcade and restaurant at the Stahr Armory, part of the National Register of Historical Buildings. From zoning to interior design, we helped the client navigate through the Lancaster Historical Society requirements and the challenges of upgrading an historical building to today’s code standards. The result is a fun, hip environment that maintains the character and features of the building.
