The Charles E. and Mary Parente Life Sciences Center at King’s College (Wilkes-Barre, PA) is a 46,000 sf addition to an existing building. The challenge during design was to maintain the floor heights of the existing building while incorporating mechanical and lighting systems. In addition, the building includes state-of-the-art teaching and research laboratories and equipment. The building is home to the more scientific programs at King’s College, including the Physician Assistant, Biology, and Gerontology programs, and several others.
